Frequently asked questions
Yes, you can still transfer money from the US Dollar Chequing Account to any ATB account in your name, including the Pay As You Go Account and the Generation Account.
For anything more than the 12 transactions included, you pay:
- $1 USD each for in-branch withdrawals and transfers
- $1 USD each for cheques
- $1 USD each for electronic transfers
- An additional $1 USD (added to the standard $0-$15 CAD fee) for Global Transfers
- Outgoing transactions performed by telephone banking are free. Any debit transactions performed over the phone by Client Care will have the applicable fee applied.
- Deposits and incoming transfers are free.
ABM transactions are not available for the US Dollar Chequing Account.
Yes, you can. The US Dollar Chequing Account can be a joint account, and applications can be done online.
